NANA’S FALL WINE DINNERS
Nana’s Chef Scott Howell and Sommelier Drew Lazarus offer two more wine dinners in 2007, working with the best wine agents in the area to bring you memorable five-course pairings of great cuisine and wine. These dinners take place in Nana’s private dining room, and space is limited to thirty guests.
October 23rd: “France Old and New: Wine Without Borders” French wine aficionado Bruno Arricastres has recently opened Wine Without Borders, a new Triangle-area wine importing and distributing company. Bruno will join us to share and discuss highlights of his portfolio, including wines from Champagne, Burgundy and the Languedoc, and from the valleys of the Loire and the Rhône. Chef Scott Howell prepares food to match these elegant, delicious wines.
December 11th: “Holiday Cheer: Champagnes and Sparklers” We welcome Debra Lewis of SDG Selections, which works with small French producers to bring their wines to the US. Debra brings her years of experience in the wine business and in visiting SDG’s producers’ vineyards overseas. Toast the holidays with these effervescent wines and Scott’s exuberant creations.
Nana’s five-course wine dinners are $75/person. Reception at 7:00 p.m., dinner at 7:30.
